The Tiger Quoll was once common throughout the east coast of Australia, but today it is estimated that less than 14,000 may still be alive. As Tiger Quolls set up their dens in caves and tree hollows, they are particularly susceptible to the impact of forest clearing and farming. Increasing bushfires have also had a significant impact on food sources for the quoll.
